# frox Updater starten

Der Updater kann über diese Funktion aktiv geöffnet werden.

Der frox Updater öffnet sich automatisch, wenn für den Nutzer Aktualisierungen bereitliegen, falls dies entsprechend eingestellt ist.

Über den frox Updater werden können Updates der Software, Lizenzen oder Konfigurationen für Sie bereitgestellt werden.

Ob und in welchem Zeitintervall nach Updates gesucht wird, kann vom Anwender in den Programmeinstellungen eingestellt werden. Es wird nach FX Updates, ArcGIS Updates, KIVID Feld Updates, Treiber Updates und Leica Zeno Updates gesucht. Außerdem werden Ihnen über den frox Updater Konfigurationen zur Verfügung gestellt. Sie möchten ein Modul, eine Schnittstelle oder eine I-Objekt Funktion testen, kein Problem sprechen Sie uns gerne an. Auch die Testversionen können wir Ihnen über den frox Updater zur Verfügung stellen.

Mit Klick auf \<Suche> startet die Suche und meldet, ob ein Update, eine neue Lizenz oder eine Konfiguration gefunden wurden.&#x20;

Gefundene Aktualisierungen werden angezeigt und können über den Button \<Download> heruntergeladen werden.

Nach dem Download kann die Aktualisierung installiert werden.

Die erfolgreiche Installation wird angezeigt.

Bei einem Programmupdate wird die Datei mit Größe angezeigt und vor der Installation wird geprüft, ob genug Speicherplatz zur Verfügung steht.
